Spiked Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Cocoa powder - For dusting
  • Peppermint schnapps - 2 ounces
  • Baileys irish cream - 2 ounces
  • Whipped cream - For topping
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Dark chocolate - 4 ounces, chopped
  • Milk - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the chopped dark chocolate and sugar to the saucepan, stirring until melted and well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  5. Add 1 ounce of Baileys Irish Cream and 1 ounce of peppermint schnapps to each mug, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
