Shrimp Tacos

These delicious shrimp tacos are filled with seasoned grilled shrimp, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Hot sauce - To taste
  • Sour cream - 1/4 cup
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Cabbage - 2 cups, shredded
  • Tortillas - 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing some shredded cabbage on each tortilla, followed by the grilled shrimp.
  7. Top with diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, sour cream, and hot sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
