The Ramos Gin Fizz is a classic New Orleans cocktail made with gin, citrus, cream, egg white, and soda water.

Ingredients

  • Ice - To fill the glass
  • Soda water - 2 ounces
  • Orange flower water - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg white - 1
  • Heavy cream - 1 ounce
  • Simple syrup - 1 ounce
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice - 1 ounce
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1 ounce
  • Gin - 2 ounces

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, heavy cream, egg white, and orange flower water.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 1 minute to emulsify the ingredients and create a frothy texture.
  3. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
  4. Top with soda water and gently stir to combine.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist or cherry, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
