Ingredients

  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1, diced
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Broccoli - 2 heads, cut into florets
  • Pastrami - 1 pound, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Add the flour to the skillet and stir to combine. Slowly whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the pastrami, broccoli, and cheese sauce. Stir until everything is well coated.
