Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• Nutella - 1/2 cup
• Chocolate chips - 1 cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Egg - 1
• Brown sugar - 1/2 cup, packed
• Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
• Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, softened
• Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
• Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
• All - purpose flour - 2 cups

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and flatten it in your palm.
8. Place a small dollop of Nutella in the center of the flattened dough.
9. Fold the edges of the dough over the Nutella, sealing it completely.
10. Roll the dough into a ball, making sure the Nutella is fully enclosed.
11. Place the stuffed cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
12. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
13. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
