Moroccan Fig Coffee

This Moroccan-inspired coffee is infused with the flavors of figs and warm spices.

Ingredients

  • Water - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried figs - 4, chopped
  • Ground coffee - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a coffee maker or French press, combine the ground coffee, chopped dried figs, cinnamon, and cardamom.
  2. Brew the coffee using the water according to your coffee maker's instructions.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  4. Remove the milk from heat and whisk in the honey until dissolved.
  5. Divide the brewed coffee between two cups.
  6. Pour the hot milk mixture over the coffee.
  7. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
