Bacon and Onion Omelette

This delicious bacon and onion omelette is packed with savory flavors and perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs - 4
  • Onion - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
  • Bacon - 4 slices, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble into small pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onion until golden and caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat the skillet over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture.
  5. Cook the eggs for a few minutes until they start to set around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon, caramelized onions, and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
  7. Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the filling.
  8. Continue cooking for another minute or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
