Abura Soba

Abura soba is a delicious Japanese noodle dish topped with flavorful sauce, vegetables, and meat.

Ingredients

  • Salt - To taste
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Nori (seaweed) - 2 sheets, shredded
  • Bean sprouts - 1 cup
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Pork belly - 200g, thinly sliced
  • Ramen noodles - 2 servings

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili oil, sugar, and salt to make the sauce.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the pork belly slices until crispy and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the bean sprouts and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and pour the sauce over them. Toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Divide the noodles into serving bowls and top with the crispy pork belly slices, chopped green onions, shredded nori, and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
